Vested Coffee

Location

Nestled in the heart of the garment district, vested is located on west 8th street in KCMO. This original building adds to the cozy atmosphere offset by the vibrant and fun velvet blue couch right next to the window so you can watch the world pass you by as you enjoy the warmth inside.

Atmosphere

The very sleek, modern look is juxtaposed by exposed red brick and blue octagonal wallpaper. With a living room set up (that amazing blue velvet couch!) and a couple of chairs, two bar tables with chairs and many 2 and 4 top tables, this is a great location to meet someone for coffee, have a meeting or getting work done!

Coffee

My go-to coffee test is the classic vanilla latte. While their vanilla latte is delicious, it has a twist and is “honey vanilla and cinnamon (Onyx Delight) and a classic vanilla latte. Recently, I got the “Mahomes Mocha” with their signature topping of an arrowhead with a 15 nestled inside. It was just the right balance of chocolate and coffee. The flavors complimented each other and I could taste them all. 

The People

Susan and Nolan, who I have met, are kind people who want to love the people of Kansas City and express this affection for KC by giving 10% back to Kansas City philanthropies (check their social media). They and their team were trained by Onyx coffee lab in Arkansas and they have their beans for sale and brewed consumption (YUM!)
